Prospect Of “Doc Fix” Grows Dim In Lame Duck, But Threat To Oxygen Remains, USA
Congressional Quarterly today reports that it appears unlikely that Congress will up action on Medicare physician payments in the post-Thanksgiving lame duck session. Preventing the scheduled cuts to doctor payments would tempt Congress to find other areas of Medicare to cut, such as homecare - and specifically home oxygen therapy. [click link for full article]
