Glade(R) Products Do Not Contain Ingredient Reported By The U.S. National Institutes Of Health That Are Suspected Of Affecting Lung Function
Today SC Johnson stated onceagain that none of its products contain the chemical ingredient 1,4dichlorobenzene (1,4 DCB). This chemical has been the subject of a studydone by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).The study, published in the August 2006 issue of the journal EnvironmentalHealth Perspectives suggested exposure to 1,4 DCB (also known asparadichlorobenzene or pDCB) may cause modest reductions in lung function.
